What if it was too expensive to go to war?

There has long been an argument made about bitcoin that actually makes a lot of sense.

The idea was that if a country adopted bitcoin or gold and had to fund its wars with money it actually had, IE that bitcoin or gold, would it still be as apt to go to war?

My guess is no.

That was the premise held by Jack Dorsey and now championed by RFK jr.

No way of knowing if they are right or not but the logic makes sense.

If it costs too much to go to war, we won't go to war. It's that simple.
