Why are people hyping NFTs?
The NFT market has grown from a multi-billion dollar industry, with even the largest NFT marketplace at around $20.5 billion
The buzz around NFTs grows when the technology is used to sell digital art.  People started noticing this phenomenon when Mike Winkelman's digital artwork - "EVERYDAY: THE FIRST 5000 DAYS" sold for less than $69,346,300.  And Twitter and Square CEO Jack Dorsey sold his first tweet.
Although several people are still surprised about the NFT hype.
Remember the virtual Coca-Cola jacket that sold for an estimated $576,00?  And the 10,000 pack of William Shatner trading cards — about 126,000 digital collectibles with photos of his personal life and career from the 1930s to the present day — sold out in just nine minutes, or Time Timepieces, from which a collection of about 4,500 NTFS originals worldwide 42  More than one artist?

People naturally like to collect and own things, especially if there is an element of exclusivity.  If something is not interchangeable it means that there is only one.  This is why NFTs are unique.
Try to imagine these NFTs as artwork, sports memorabilia, comic books or rare trading cards.  Thanks to blockchain, we can now do things that were previously impossible, such as verifying the authenticity and ownership of digital everything—results, lack.
Singularly and like little else, a sense of ownership often gives a person the most important value.  Entire communities and collections have sprung up around NFT projects, with token holders often taking membership in these communities as part of their identity.  Some people even use NFTs as a representation of their digital self.
